European Distributor Day Held at Bowers Bradford Manufacturing Site

Successful European Distributor Day at Bowers Bradford Manufacturing Site

distributor-day-bradfordBowers Group recently held a successful training day for European distributors at its manufacturing site in Bradford. Taking place over 2 days, more than 20 product distributors from across the world enjoyed extensive training on a variety of metrology equipment, as well as a tour of the factory, and a variety of seminar sessions.

Showcasing Machining Capabilities

Cathy Clewer, Marketing Manager at Bowers Group said: “The event was a great opportunity for our global distributors to see the factory, to understand how the products are made, and to see both the scope and scale of the work we do in Bradford.  Our factory has amazing machining capabilities, so it was fantastic to be able to show them. It was also a lovely opportunity for us all to get to know each other better!”

Seminars and Practical Sessions

Over the course of the 2 days, guests enjoyed a series of seminars and practical sessions. This enabled them to learn about our products on an extremely in depth level, therefore equipping them with the knowledge and expertise they need to present to their customers. With the growth of IOT and Industry 4.0, the training provided our distributors with essential information to ensure they are up to speed on not just how this works, but the possible impact that this has for their customers.

Assisting Distributors in their Own Markets

Cathy continued: “We split everyone into small groups to ensure that we gave each distributor the time and attention they needed on what was most useful for them.  At the end of the two days all groups had had a factory tour, worked with our Specials Team, had product training on the existing range of products, access to new products and product development, and a session on how we can work together to assist them in their own markets. Although it was an intensive couple of days for all involved, we made sure there were some fun elements too, including a traditional fish and chip lunch! It was a great success!”
