Assembly Technician/Fitter (Vision & Optical) x 2

We are looking for two Assembly Technician/Fitters to join our team in Bradford, carrying out the mechanical and electrical build of our range of Baty vision & optical products.

Initially this role will require you to spend time in both our Bradford and West Sussex facilities, for a period of up to 6 months, as you will be heavily involved in the transfer of the production facilities for our Baty vision & optical products from our West Sussex to Bradford site, which will then be your primary place of work upon successful completion of the transfer. It’s a great opportunity to be involved in an interesting project working as part of a newly created project team. We will, of course, provide you with travel and accommodation for your time away from Bradford.

As Assembly Technician/Fitter you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical build of vision & optical products and various sub-assemblies for stock, working in accordance with established build and ISO 9001 procedures.

What about you? Ideally, you will have previous experience of mechanical assembly in the machine tool or similar industry. A basic understanding of circuit diagrams for the electrical element is preferable but not essential as we will provide you with the relevant training. You will be self-motivated with an excellent work ethic, always looking to improve and with a can-do approach to work.
