Product Applications Engineer

Are you an experienced Product Applications Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background and understanding of Metrology? This role may well be for you.

We are looking for a Product Applications Engineer to join our team, playing a key role in supporting businesses customers here in the UK & Export markets.

You will provide pre-sales applications work, customer training and demonstrations for our Baty, Sylvac Scan and Trimos Arm product ranges and additional products as required.

As Product Applications Engineer you will deliver training courses on software-based systems to our UK & Ireland customer network, as well as supporting UK and Export customers with technical enquiries which will mean that you will need a detailed knowledge and understanding of our product portfolios.

What about you? Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a similar role within Mechanical Engineering or Metrology / Inspection. You will be confident when delivering training to a varied audience, with good communication skills and interpersonal skills. Project and time management skills are important, as well as planning and organisational skills, in order to meet deadlines and manage competing demands. Due to the nature of this role, you must be comfortable with travelling both in the UK and internationally, as there will be an expectation for you to spend period of time away from home and to work unsocial hours when travelling.
