Product Sales Specialist

Home-based with extensive UK travel and regular visits to Camberley Sales Office, Surrey

Bowers Group are looking to recruit a Product Sales Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge, and opportunity in this area of the Bowers Group.

Reporting direct to the Technical Product Manager, the Product Sales Specialist will play a key role in developing the sales of key Third Party products for the Bowers UK sales group. This is a direct customer facing role with the requirement of understanding customers individual business needs; providing technical sales proposals to fulfil customer needs; as well as providing demonstrations of equipment to support sales proposals, which will be followed up by customer training and technical support. In addition, the jobholder will offer technical support to customers via our UK office.

To be considered for this role applicants must have:

  • Good level of academic achievement, ideally in a Mechanical Engineering related discipline
  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering and Metrology / Inspection
  • Experience in office and field-based Customer service
  • Knowledge of the sales process in relation to high value capital equipment
  • Knowledge of Dimensional Calibration, CMMs, CAD, 3D and SPC Software would be beneficial
  • Ability to carry out system installations and operator training as necessary
  • Ability to work proactively, independently, and flexibly
  • Good planning and personal organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate and work at all levels and in an organisation with diverse locations and functions
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent Computer skills including Microsoft Office specifically, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
