Quality Engineer

Bowers Bradford are looking to recruit an experience Quality Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge, and opportunity to drive this area of Bowers.

Reporting direct to the Quality Manager, the role holder will coordinate and perform quality control checks throughout manufacturing, and Inward Goods

The role requires a quality focused approach to work with excellent attention to detail and the delivery of responsibilities in accordance with established SOPs and standards.

To be considered for this role applicants will desirably have:

• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, ideally within Mechanical Engineering

• Experience of working within a similar role is preferred

• Good working knowledge of metrology hand tools and functions of typical use

• Experience of working in a busy environment with varied work demands

• First class communication and interpersonal skills

• Good time management and ability to plan and organize workload

• Ability to follow instructions

• Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good level of computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
