The Taper Gage Smart from Sylvac is a professional gap and thickness measuring instrument that integrates a Smart Inductive System (SIS) with wireless Bluetooth® output. It’s engineered for fast, repeatable measurements — simply push once to take a reading.

Thanks to its IP67-rated housing, it can withstand exposure to water, coolant, and lubricants, making it reliable on the shop floor.

The gauge is available in three measuring ranges (0.5–5.5 mm, 0.5–17.5 mm, 12.5–28.5 mm) and delivers a resolution of 0.01 mm, repeatability of 10 µm, and a maximum error of 30 µm. Lightweight but robust (weight from 270 g to 510 g depending on the model), it’s ideal for applications such as turbine blade alignment, rotor gap checks, and precision gap measurement across the automotive, aeronautics, packaging, and machine-tool industries.
