Bowers Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Crossland as Managing Director, effective July 2026.
Jon joins Bowers Group with an outstanding track record of international leadership across engineering, manufacturing, operations and supply chain management, bringing decades of experience leading global businesses and delivering sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Bowers Group, Jon served as Director & General Manager at Brook Crompton Limited, part of the Wolong Electric Group, where he was responsible for the UK and EMEA regions. His career also includes senior leadership positions as Chief Operating Officer at Portwest Clothing Limited, overseeing global manufacturing and operations, and Managing Director of Typhoon International and International Safety Products, where he led internationally recognised marine safety businesses.
Jon began his professional career with Royal Mail, progressing to National PRINCE2 Project Deployment Manager, where he managed major divisional projects and led a team of project support officers and PRINCE2 mentors.
Alongside his executive career, Jon serves as a Director and Trustee of The Old Courthouse Day Care Centre, a Barnsley-based dementia charity, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to supporting local communities.
As Managing Director, Jon will lead the strategic direction and commercial performance of Bowers Group, with a focus on accelerating growth, strengthening customer relationships, driving innovation and maintaining the company's reputation for precision engineering excellence.
