We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. You will be a key member of the Sales Team and play a crucial role in driving sales growth. You will be offered great levels of variety, challenge, and opportunity.
There’s plenty to do in this role, you will be responsible for the sales of Bowers Group manufactured products, Baty Vision products, Moore and Wright and our range of Trimos, Sylvac and Wyler capital products direct to end users and via a growing distributor network within your assigned geographical area. You will develop existing customer accounts and distribution networks as well as developing new business in line with the company overall sales strategy. You will ensure sales activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the Business.
What about you? You will have previous experience in a similar role, with success selling engineering / measuring equipment to a wide range of clients in a manufacturing industry. You will have experience of managing a budget, KPIS and strategy planning and have previous experience prospecting, closing and growing business accounts. Ideally, you will have a background in high-quality Mechanical Engineering with relatable knowledge in Metrology and Quality Procedures. You will have the ability to interpret engineering drawings to understand customer applications and specific measuring requirements. You will have excellent communication (written and verbal) and have working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
