We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team in Bradford, carrying out the mechanical and electrical build of our range of Baty vision & optical products.
As Assembly Technician you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical build of vision & optical products and various sub-assemblies for stock, working in accordance with established build and ISO 9001 procedures. You will work to technical drawings and build plans and procedures.
What about you? Ideally, you will have previous experience of mechanical assembly in the machine tool or similar industry. A basic understanding of circuit diagrams for the electrical element is preferable but not essential as we will provide you with the relevant training. You will have similar experience in a high precision environment and have the ability to read technical /engineering drawings with a good understanding of tolerancing/geometrical tolerancing. You will be self-motivated with an excellent work ethic, always looking to improve and with a can-do approach to work.
